Joyce Marie Warrington

Mrs. Joyce Marie Warrington, 62, of McDonough, Ga passed away November 8, 2018. Joyce was born in Garden City Park, NY the daughter of the late Irene Ann Hulett (Nee Jelinek) and Donald A. Hulett. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Donald Paul Hulett. Joyce took her greatest pleasure in serving her life’s calling as a devoted mother, grandmother and number one supporter in her family and extended family's sporting and social events. No matter what you called her: Ma, Wowie, Nanna J or Mrs. J, she was a mother to everyone. She always kept an open door and heart policy for friends who needed love and shelter. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, Jeopardy, silly jokes and video / board games with the family. Joyce was a provider and maker; she was a seamstress, cook and avid gardener; she gave more to this earth than she took and taught her children to do the same. She committed herself as a servant of the lord at Turning Point Church and faithfully served others every chance she could to lend a hand. Survivors are husband, Darrell Warrington of Chicago; children, Farron Burton Locklair (James) of FL., Ashley Warrington of McDonough, Megan Wilson (Richard) of McDonough, Brett Warrington of FL, Evan Warrington of Roswell, Chad Kellett (Evie) of Rutledge, Kim Warrington of FL and Jeff Warrington of FL; she had 16 loving grandchildren; a sister, Doreen Palmer (Ed) of Hampton; and several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2018 from 1:00 – 4:00 PM at Lifesong Church, 1820 S. 6th Street, Griffin, GA. For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital as children were always her passion. My BFF, Joyce , You and I had the best of times in our younger years and I will never forget you . Joyce, In the waters of baptism you passed away with Christ and rose with Him to new life. Joyce you will share with Him eternal glory now in the pearly white gates of heaven ., and Until we meet again, be the angel we knew you to be and know we love and miss you more than anything.
