Judy Carol Navarro

Mrs. Judy Bowen Navarro, age 71 of McDonough, Georgia passed away October 26, 2014. She was born in Stockbridge, Georgia to the late Harrison Hightower and Sara Agnes Fisher Bowen. Judy was preceded in death by a sister, Joanne Satterwhite and a brother, Daniel Bowen. She retired from the Ford Motor Company and was a member of the Hemphill Memorial Presbyterian Church. She was an avid reader, enjoyed time on the telephone and watching TV. She was an Elvis fan, having been to eleven live concerts and was especially fond of doting on her beloved Bichon. Survivors include her husband, Jerry Navarro of McDonough; daughter, Jennifer Sara Slagle of Social Circle, GA; son, Jerry Lee Slagle, II of Panama City Beach, FL; granddaughters, Jessica Leigh Slagle and Ashley Nicole Slagle; great grandson, Julian Riley Slagle; sister in law, Betty Bowen and brother in law, Louie Satterwhite, both of Stockbridge, GA; her beloved Bichon, Sassy Britches. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at 11:00 am from the Hemphill Memorial Presbyterian Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
