Karleena "Karlee" Lynn Knight

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Karleena Lynn Knight, age 36, of McDonough, GA, who was born on March 9, 1989, in Macon, Georgia, and passed away on April 2, 2025. Karleena was a vibrant soul whose infectious smile, silly personality, and loving nature touched all who knew her. She could light up any room with her laughter and playful spirit, and she was also known for her fierce loyalty and determination when it came to her loved ones.

Karleena’s greatest passions were her family, especially her children and her husband. She devoted her life to them, and they were the center of her world. Karleena’s joy and energy shone through in all that she did. She had a special love for the beach, where the sound of the waves seemed to echo her carefree spirit.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Dora Amelia Flores Ojeda and Ronald Senft Sr., and her paternal grandparents, Joseph and Sylvia Stapleton.

Karleena is survived by her husband of 18 years, Michael Knight, and their 3 children: Khloee, Maddox, and Charlee Knight of McDonough, GA; her mother, Patsy Ann Ojeda Brookins; her father, Robert Stapleton; her siblings Jody (Gabrielle) Stapleton of McDonough, GA, Frankie (Holly) Stapleton of McDonough, GA, Angel Concepcion of Milledgeville, GA, and Sylvia Stapleton of Milledgeville, GA; her in-laws, Ricky and Kelly Bennett and Gene Knight (Kim); and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and extended family.

Karleena will be remembered for her kindness, her love of life, her playful nature, and her unwavering devotion to those closest to her. To know her was to love her, and she will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known her.

A memorial service will be held at Haisten Funeral Home, McDonough, GA, on April 8, 2025. Viewing will begin at 12:00 PM, followed by services at 1:00 PM.
