

Kelly Nathan Clay passed away on June 10, 2026, at the age of 64. He was born on October 17, 1961, to Loyal and Evelyn Clay in Atlanta, GA. He is preceded in death by his father Loyal Clay and sister Vicki Farmer.
He is survived by his loving wife Celina Clay; daughter Emily (Gabriel) Wells; mother Evelyn Clay; brother Keith (Teresa) Clay; grandchildren Caden and Kynlee Wells; aunt Becky (Leon) Howell and Sandra Murphy; nephew and nieces Travis (Jill) Clay, Brandon (Kalyn) Clay, Brooks (Claudia) Sanders, Amy (John) Clifton, Edy (Danny) Sorrells, Michael (Becky) Farmer; and several beloved friends and family members.
Kelly was known for his playful sarcasm and endless sense of humor, he never missed an opportunity to make someone laugh. He worked with Celina daily as a self-employed auditor for 28 years. He was a selfless and dedicated husband, father, son, granddaddy, uncle, and friend who always put others before himself. Kelly was also a faithful deacon and devoted member of Oak Grove Baptist Church for more than 40 years. He was an avid outdoorsman who found great joy in fishing and hunting throughout his life. His laughter was contagious, his stories unforgettable, and his presence brought warmth and joy to all who knew him.
Visitation will be at Haisten Funerals & Cremations, 1745 Zack Hinton Parkway, McDonough, GA 30253, US, on June 13, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm. The Celebration of Life will take place in the Haisten Chapel on June 13, 2026, at 3:00 pm. A Committal Service will be held at Lawnwood Memorial Park and Mausoleum, 1111 Access Rd, Covington, GA 30014, US, on June 13, 2026, immediately following services.
