Kenneth Edward "Eddie" Cornell

Kenneth Edward "Eddie" Cornell, age 69, of Milner, Georgia passed away on Sunday, January 9, 2022. Eddie was born April 1, 1952 in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Kenneth Elton and Eunice Jennings Cornell. Eddie attended Briarwood High School and faithfully served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era. He worked for his father for many years and then owned and operated Cornell and Son until his retirement. Eddie loved his family and enjoyed gathering them together for family meals, parties and holidays. He was an avid cook and spent quality time hunting and fishing. Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Rocky Cornell; children, Shea Cornell (David) Denman of Monticello, Kenneth Erin (Jenny) Cornell of Griffin, Christina (Stephanie) Neal of Syracuse, NY and Sabrina (George) Guilmain of Orchard Park, NY; grandchildren, Derec Mann, Amber Sharifi, Addyson Anderson, Kenneth Eric Cornell, Landon Chance Cornell, Ember McKenna Cornell, Kaila, Savannah and Timothy Guilmain; great grandchildren, Braylee Mann, Jase Hogan, Christian Padgett, Liam Mann and Jameson Sharifi; siblings, Donnie (Brenda) Cornell of Milner, Rita Cornell of Locust Grove and Alan (Sandy) Cornell of Griffin. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 14, 2022 - 11:00 AM in the Haisten Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Lee Morgan will officiate. Interment will follow at Locust Grove Cemetery. Friends may visit the family Thursday from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
