Kristy Nix

Crystale "Kristy" Nix, age 49, of Locust Grove, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2023. She was born in Atlanta on May 18, 1974 to James and Bonnie Elmore. Kristy was very active in her boys baseball, shotgun and archery at 4H. She was an avid Tennessee Volunteers and Green Bay Packers fan. She was the Training Coordinator for almost nine years with Henry County police. Kristy is survived by her husband of 18 years, Scott Nix and her children Jacob Austin Nix and Jonathan Boady Nix of Locust Grove, Kimberly (Eddie) Murray of Jefferson and Drew (Shay) Nix of Suwannee; grandchildren Braelyn, Ashleigh, Emmerlyn, Lorelei, Jordyn and Ethan; mother, Bonnie Smith of McDonough, Georgia, siblings; Wesley (Wylly) Elmore of Snellville, Steve (Victoria) Smith, Brian (Jennifer) Smith, Chandra (Kelly) Evans and Kimberly Smith all of North Carolina and aunt Kathleen (Leman) Maxey. Service will be held at 3:00pm on Sunday, August 6, 2023 at Glen Haven Baptist Church. The family will receive friends 2 hours prior to the service.
