Mr. Larry Lester Ashbaugh, age 75 of McDonough, Georgia passed away January 1, 2017. He was born in Pocatello, Idaho to the late Lester and Helen Carlman Ashbaugh. He was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Ashbaugh. Larry was an over the road truck driver, having retired from USF Freightways and then owning and operating L & E Express. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, yard work, and was an avid fan of the Washington Huskies. Survivors include his wife, Ellen Ashbaugh; children, Wayne O’Neal, John O’Neal and Jennifer O’Neal; grandchildren, Joshua and Jacob Stegall, Chris, Shane, Sylvia and Michael O’Neal, Melanie Lewis, Lacey and Peyton O’Neal; brother, Jack (Beth) Ashbaugh, Sr.; several nieces and nephews. A private memorial service will be held for family and friends. The family has requested contributions to be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in memory of Larry.
