Larry Hoyt Raines November 28, 1941 – December 9, 2025 Larry Hoyt Raines, age 84, of McDonough, Ga., passed away December 9, 2025. He was a loving husband, devoted father, proud grandfather, and a respected business owner.
Larry was the devoted husband of the late Janet Marie Raines (Jeannie). He was the longtime owner of Clayton Collision Center, Inc., a family business, that he built through decades of hard work, integrity, and dedication to his community. He was widely respected for his fairness, strong work ethic, and genuine care for customers and employees.
Above all, Larry was a family man. He is survived by his two sons, Phillip E. Raines (Phil) and his wife, Kim, and Larry Alan Raines (Alan) and his wife, Donna; four grandchildren, Courtney Raines-Johnston, Janet Raines (Allie), Anna Raines, and Jackson Raines; and one great-grandchild, Orion Johnston.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Janet Marie Raines (Jeannie); his father, John Hoyt Raines; his mother, Amanda Inez Burrell Raines; and his sister, Yvonne Newsome.
