Linda Garner Anderson, 78 of Stockbridge passed away on August 23, 2026. She was born in McDonough, Georgia on April 9, 1948 to Ira and Mary Garner. Linda was also preceded in death by her son, Brian Scott Anderson. She worked as an Executive Secretary at Davison's Department Stores for over 20 years. Linda attended Mt. Vernon Church and Eagles Landing Baptist Church and could be found caring for the younger children. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Raymond, children Mechelle (Michael) Brown of Locust Grove, Mark Anderson of Stockbridge and Barry (Cherilyn) Anderson of Stockbridge. Mimi also leaves to cherish her memory, her loving grandchildren Scott, Mikaela, Savannah, Daniel, Cameron and Gracie. The family will receive friends from 2:00pm - 4:00pm on Saturday at Haisten Funeral Home in McDonough. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00pm on Sunday, August 30, 2026 in our chapel. Burial will follow at Bethany Baptist Cemetery in McDonough. Those desiring may send contributions to the Alzheimer's Association.
