Lorrie Anne Fitz

Lorrie Anne Rozier Fitz, 60, passed away peacefully on February 3, 2025 at her residence surrounded by her family. A celebration of life and memorial service is scheduled for 5pm on Friday, February 7, 2025 at Haisten Funerals and Cremations - 1745 Zack Hinton Parkway South, McDonough, GA 20253. Burial will be private.

Lorrie Fitz was born October 2, 1964 the daughter of the late Robert Woodfin Rozier and Barbara Faye Rozier of Cary, GA. She was married to Jeffrey Scott Fitz of McDonough, GA. Mrs. Fitz lived a life of service to her community as an elementary school teacher and mentor of gifted children in Henry, Dooly, and Twiggs Counties for 35 years. Lorrie loved spending time with family and friends, especially at the beach. She was a fiercely devoted wife and mother.

Mrs. Fitz is survived by her husband of 34 years Jeff, daughter Megan, and sons Logan and Jordan Fitz of McDonough, GA; mother-in-law Jane Fitz of Norwood Young America, MN; sister Michelle Rozier of Cary, GA; brother Tom (partner Frank) Rozier of Palm Desert, CA; and brother-in-law Michael (partner Michelle) Fitz and two nieces and two nephews of Bloomington, MN.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Lorrie’s name to Georgia Hair Solutions and Salon 1139 East 3rd Street, Suite 1, Jackson, GA 30233 who provides wigs for pediatric cancer patients.

The family will greet friends at 4pm in the chapel at Haisten Funerals and Cremations before the service.
