Louise Lumpkin Hungerpiller, age 97, of McDonough, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, May 31, 2022. Louise was born November 14, 1924 in Clarkesville, Georgia the late William and Florrah Nix Lumpkin. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, William David Hungerpiller, five siblings and a son in law, Randy Ball.
She retired after 25 years with the Fulton County Superior Court. Louise was a member of Bible Baptist Church, where she and her late husband took mission trips to Kodiak and Haiti. Louise was a loving wife and mother. She was an avid seamstress and made many of her daughter's clothes over the years. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, working in the yard and being outdoors; and canning and freezing vegetables for everyone to enjoy.
She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Deborah Ball (David) Shedd of McDonough.
Funeral services will be held Friday, June 3, 2022 - 12:00 pm in the Haisten Funeral Home Chapel. Friends may visit the family one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, contributions are asked to be made to Samaritan's Purse or St. Jude's in memory of Louise.
