Mrs. Lynda Crow English, age 70, of Griffin, GA passed away May 22, 2018. Lynda was born in Dalton, GA the daughter of the late Jessie Lee Fowler Crow and Randolph William Crow. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Richard English.
Lynda enjoyed spending time with family and friends, floral designing, shopping, traveling, and playing cards. She enjoyed entertaining and had a gift of hospitality, charm, and was a mother to many. She worked for Delta Air Lines in the accounting department and was a member of St. John’s Episcopal Church in College Park, GA.
Survivors are her sons and daughters-in-law, Randy and Stephanie English of Stockbridge and Jason English and Taylor Johnson-English of Seattle Washington; grandchildren and they referred to her as their Nana are: Cameron English and Heather English of Stockbridge and Riley English and Gavin English of Seattle, Washington; sister and brother-in-law, Candy and Eddie Ayers of Conyers and many extended family members.
A Celebration of Life service for Lynda will be on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home with Pastor Steven Davis officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 2:00 PM prior to the service. For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Scottish Rite Children’s Hospital or to the Wounded Warrior Foundation.
