Mrs. Margie Marie Ashe, age 82 of Locust Grove, passed away on Monday, June 8, 2020, loving wife of 68 years to Vernon R. Ashe. She was born in Murphy, NC to the late Robert & Janie Stiles. Margie loved being a stay at home mom and taking care of her family. She believed that family always came first and that family was everything. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Ashe is survived by her daughters: Betty (Mike) Proctor of Cumming, Pam (Rick) Hester of Monticello, Debby Reece of Simpsonville, and Tracy (Jeff) Hull of Durham, NC; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her four brothers and six sisters.
