Marie Kirkley

Mrs. Marie Kirkley, age 55, of McDonough, GA passed away November 16, 2016. She was born in Atlanta, GA the daughter of the late Flora and John Gravitt.She was also preceded in death by a son, Marion Travis Meeks and a sister, Jean Evans.She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, her church, movies, eating Mexican food and at the Olive Garden.She was known for her love and being an inspirational leader.She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Jackson.Survivors are her husband, Robert Kirkley of McDonough; children, Lisa Meeks of Locust Grove and Jennifer Grant of Hampton; grandchildren, Travis Bell, Austin Meeks, Dalton Bell, Cameron Johnson, Tristan Johnson, Lisa McGinnis, Anna Grant, Suzette Grant and Heather Grant.The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, November 19, 2016 from 5 – 8:00 PM and again on Sunday from 4 – 8:00 PM.Funeral service will be in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home in McDonough on Monday, November 21, 2016 – 1:00 PM with Pastor Lamar Cole officiating.Interment will follow at Camp Memorial Park in Fayetteville.For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Southwest Christian Hospice, 7225 Lester Road, Union City, Georgia 30291.
