Marion grew up in Georgia, moved to Florida her senior year in high school and graduated from Carrabelle High School in 1962. She built a life centered on love, kindness, and generosity. She never met a stranger and made everyone she encountered feel like family. Her home was always open, filled with warmth, laughter, and the joy of family and friends gathered together.
She was a devoted wife to Royce for 60 years, a loving mother to MacRay (Carol), Jeff (Sherry), and Sandi (Scott) as well as an adoring “Nana” to her six grandchildren. Marion’s greatest joy was being with those she loved, creating memories that will be cherished forever.
Her legacy of kindness and unwavering love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
A celebration of Marion’s life will be held at Haisten Funeral Home in McDonough, Georgia on Saturday, March 22nd at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Lung Association in her honor.
