Mr. Martin William John Harris, Jr., age 84 of Locust Grove, Georgia passed away January 23, 2019. He was born in Annapolis, Maryland to the late Martin William John Sr. and Mildred Louise Kibler Harris. He was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, June Delores Stewart Harris and by a daughter, Kathryn Harris. He faithfully served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. Martin retired after 41 years with United Airlines as an airline mechanic. He was a member of the Moose Lodge for over 40 years and loved to sing and dance. Survivors include his children, John (Patricia) Harris of Locust Grove and Kay Linda (Robert) Hayes of San Jose, CA; grandson, Richard Harris of San Jose, CA; brothers, Larry Harris of Blue Ridge, George Harris of AL and Richard Harris. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 26, 2019 – 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. Mr. Edward DeLee will officiate. Friends may visit the family Friday from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Contributions are asked to be made to Moose Charities in memory of Mr. Harris.
