Marvin Joe Harris

Marvin Joe Harris, age 88 of Conyers, Georgia passed away March 19, 2026. He was born August 21, 1937, in Decatur, Georgia to the late Nathan and Grace Ellen Clay Harris. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anita Yvonne Hulsey Harris; daughter and son in law, Donna and Bobby Selph; siblings, Jerry Nathan Harris, Dorothy Brewton and Marie Hughes. Marvin was a self employed painter and was known for his work ethic and quality workmanship. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing golf. The most important thing in life was his family. Survivors include his sons and daughters in law, Tony J. and Rhonda Harris of Locust Grove and Michael J. and Kim Harris of Milner; grandchildren, Mark (Nina) Harris, Kayla Harris, April (Nathan) Bishop, Brandon (Erica) Harris, Michelle (Jordan) Wooten, Brianna (Steven) Brown, Hunter (Arianna) Baker, Chase (Becca) Baker, Nathan (Becky) Baker and Jacob Bishop; great grandchildren, Matthew Harris, Preston Harris, Jordan Bishop, Natalie Bishop, Austin Wallace, Makala Wallace, Harlee-Jo Harris, Sophie Wooten, Josie Philmon, Brody Philmon, Blake Harris, Beau Baker, Parker Baker and Walker Baker; brother in law, Ray Hulsey. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 24, 2026 - 2:00 pm in the Haisten Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit the family Monday from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions are asked to be made to the Rock Springs Clinic, 211 Rock Springs Rd., Milner, GA 30257 in memory of Marvin.
