Mary H. Kendrick

Mrs. Helen Harrison Kendrick , age 88, of McDonough, GA passed away October 3, 2017. Mrs. Kendrick was born in Athens, TN the daughter of the late Julia Taylor Harrison and Dowdle Olin Harrison. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Dolphus Kendrick as well as all of her siblings. Mrs. Kendrick enjoyed spending time with family and friends, going out to eat, cooking and her church. She was a member of Peoples Baptist Church in McDonough. Survivors are her daughters and son-in-law, Teresa and Cary Grubbs of Macon and Debra Kendrick of Macon; grandchildren, Ian and Katie Perkins of Rome and Heather Nolan of Athens; great grandchildren, Sailor Perkins, Scout Perkins and Jonathan LeCroy and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, October 8, 2017 from 3:00 – 5:00 PM. A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 9, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens in Forest Park with Pastor David McCoy officiating. For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
