Mrs. Mary Helen Parker, age 97 of McDonough, Georgia passed away September 30, 2020. She was born in Phoenix City, Alabama to the late Ephren and Pearl Cochran Williams. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Parker; daughter, Shirley Maxine Gil; siblings, Joseph Williams, Frances Smith, Willie Davis, Esther Harper and Leila Pearl Walton. Helen was a member of the Cory United Methodist Church, where she was active in the women's group. She retired from Tom Paige Catering and loved to cook. She was especially known for her homemade rolls and sweet potato pie. Helen was a people person and loved gardening and dancing. Survivors include her granddaughter, Marissa Gil of McDonough, GA; God-daughters, Antoinette Burke of Charleston, WV, Felicia McElrath of Cleveland, OH and Christal Paige of Miramar, FL; several nieces and nephews. No services are planned.
