Mary Elaine Steadham

Mrs. Mary Elaine Smallwood Steadham, age 68, of Jackson, GA passed away August 1, 2018. Elaine was born in Commerce, GA the daughter of the late Mary Edna Smith Smallwood and Alvin Lee Smallwood Jr. She was also preceded in death by a son, Brian Jones.

Elaine enjoyed spending time with family and friends, cooking, shopping, and sharing stories and yard work. Survivors are her loving husband of 25 years, Randy Steadham of Jackson; children, Keith Jones (Christy) of Forest Park, Elisha Martin (Jason) of Locust Grove, Ali Latham (Brian) of Locust Grove, Randy Steadham Jr. (Alisha) of Jackson, and Ricky Steadham (Jennifer) of High Falls; 19 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; brother, Robert Smallwood (Susan) of Jackson; sister, Melissa Simmons (Kendall) of Locust Grove; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, August 4, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral service will be on Sunday, August 5, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home with Rev. David Graham officiating. Interment will follow at Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery in Covington, GA.
