Mrs. Meredith Gurley Elliott, age 72, of McDonough, GA passed away January 27, 2016. Meredith was born in Evansville, IN the daughter of the late Ella Reon Stocks and Oscar Gurley. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Laddie Ray Elliott and a daughter, Pamela Wright. Meredith enjoyed spending time with family and friends, crafts, drawing, and spoiling her grandchildren. Survivors are her daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Mark Pyrtle of McDonough and son-in-law, Mark Wright of Locust Grove; grandchildren, Carissa Wright, Justin Wright, Madison Pyrtle and Kayla Pyrtle; cousin, Jane Johnson of McDonough. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, January 31, 2016 from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park at 3:30 PM.
