Mickey Frank Stanley, age 70, of McDonough passed away on Sunday, May 23, 2021. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia on May 1, 1951 to the late Frank Lawton and Elizabeth Rigsby. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Lynn White Dalton. Mickey attended Mt. Zion Methodist Church in Hapeville, GA. After graduating from Hapeville High School in 1970 he attended Young Harris College. Mickey enjoyed traveling, fishing, golfing, boating and Atlanta sports, especially Georgia Tech. He was employed as an International Cargo Manager with Delta Air Lines for 29 years. Mr. Stanley is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Martain Stanley, his daughter, Mhari Patterson Ryan (Patrick) from Griffin, GA and their son Noah. Mickey has a surviving brother, Johnny Huey from Henry County, GA and several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will be hosting a Celebration of Life to commemorate Mickey, where memories are shared and stories are swapped - to celebrate all the things that made him so very special. This gathering will be held at Pilgreen’s at Lake Dow on Thursday, June 17th from 6:00pm-8:00pm. Appetizers & refreshments will be provided.
