Nancy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and teacher. She married James Conway, in 1975, and they shared 51 years of marriage together.
Nancy dedicated her career to teaching, where she touched the lives of many students. Outside of her career and family, Nancy loved flowers and plants and keeping a beautifully decorated patio. She enjoyed swimming, dancing, sewing, playing games, Bible study groups and walking with friends.
Nancy’s greatest joy in life was spending time with her grandchildren. She attended as many school and sporting events as she could.
She is survived by her husband, James Conway, her sister, Susan Billos, her children, Bryan Conway, Scott Conway and his wife, Lydia, and Shannon Chandler and her husband, Cameron; and her grandchildren, Brennan “The Golden Grandchild” and his wife Kate, Blaine, Braeden, Carson, Toby, Brooklyn, Grant, and Maddox.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Dolores Gilbert.
Nancy will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew and loved her. Her love, warmth, and memory will live on through the many lives she touched and, most especially, through her family and grandchildren.
