Nathan loved deep sea fishing, going to the beach, playing fantasy football and watching the Atlanta Braves. Nathan also had a huge love for Disney World that started with his first visit at age 3.
Nathan's greatest love was for his family. His parents Michael and Pam along with his brother David continued the Disney trips well into his adult life. Nathan's wife Patti was the love of his life and best friend.
The day they found out they were having a baby was one of the best days of his life. He loved doing things with Abby like cooking things from scratch. Teaching her about his beekeeping hobby and playing board games with her. Abby had his heart like only a daughter could. She made him laugh, dressed him up in silly clothes, and would sit and watch movies together. Nathan and Patti have passed their love of Disney to Abby as well.
Nathan was the person that no matter what kind of day you were having (or he was having) he would do his best to make you smile. He was the type of guy that would drop everything he was doing to help others in need. He was someone who put everything he had into everything he did. Nathan also had a sense of humor and would kid around. He loved to make people laugh, usually by telling useless facts. He would come up with silly songs about flamingos and how they were pretty cool. He loved being goofy when his daughter's friends came over.
When Nathan was born his parents planted a black walnut tree out front. As Nathan grew so did the tree.
As it remains standing, his memory will also. Nathan will be dearly missed by Patti, Abby, David, his parents, his many extended family members and friends and especially his doodles, Baylee and Daisy.
A visitation for Nathan will be held on Sunday June 26, 2022 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at Haisten Funerals and Cremations followed by a reception at the family home.
