Ms. McVey & I had an instant bond from day one of me coming to her home. She started call me her adopted granddaughter so naturally she became my adopted grandmother. Each visit she greeted me with a hug and asked me how I was doing. I would tell her ,”I’m suppose to be checking on you” then she we smile. After each visit, we would hug each other goodbye. She would then say, “Be careful out there Nicole. It’s dangerous out there”. I will truly miss seeing Ms. Nellie twice a week.

One of the loveliest and strongest women that I was lucky enough to know. Big Mama was amazing in her devotion and loyalty to those she loved and her faith and beliefs. Sending deepest sympathy to all her family and loved ones. You are all in our thoughts and prayers, we love you all so very much ❤️.
