Among those to greet Pat when she stood at Heaven's Gate were her parents Dale and Sarah Gardner, her husband Ralph Corven Marshall, son in law Jonathan Scott Tatum and her only great grandson Keegan Marshall Tatum.
Pat was born in Columbus, Ohio and is the oldest of seven. All six of her brothers and sisters were her world and still are all located in Ohio. She enjoyed going to Ohio to visit her brothers and sisters; Carolyn Ruth Cramer, Janice Marie Bryant, Joyce Fuchs, Dennis Wayne Gardner, James Albert Gardner (Bambi) Gardner and Lee Allen Gardner.
Pat married Ralph in June of 1959 and together they had one child Cheryl Marshall Tatum. Cheryl and her late husband Jonathan Scott Tatum gave Pat two grandchildren, Brian Scott Tatum and Ashley Renee Tatum Stephens.
Brian and his wife Toni Danielle Tatum brought great grandchildren Keegan Marshall Tatum, Abigail Grace Tatum and Aubrey Kate Tatum into Pat's life while Ashley blessed her with Tatum Lynn Stephens and Madison Ann Stephens.
Pat enjoyed traveling to as many places as possible especially if it was with her brothers and sisters. She also found joy serving her church, her community, her friends, and her family.
Pat would spend as much time as possible with friends going to estate sales and yard sales and doing all sorts of crafts especially quilting and scrapbooking. (There was nothing she did not know how to do.) her favorite pastime was spoiling her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The greatest example Pat leaves for her family, friends and all who knew her is her love for life no matter the circumstances.
A visitation for Pat will be held Saturday, May 24, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Haisten Funerals & Cremations, 1745 Zack Hinton Parkway, McDonough, GA 30253, followed by a celebration of life at 1:00 PM.
