Patricia Ann Young

Mrs. Patricia Ann Young, age 74, of Monticello, GA passed away March 1, 2018. Pat was born in Charlottesville, VA the daughter of the late Minnie Burns Jackson and Eugene Forrester Jackson. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Ronnie Jackson.

Pat enjoyed spending time with family and friends, crafts, drawing, puzzles, music, the lake, and watching the sunrise and sunset. She worked most of her working career as a 911 operator for Henry County and later worked for the Butts County Sherriff’s Department. Pat was a member of the Monticello Post 110 American Legion Auxiliary.

Survivors are her husband of 24 plus years, Eddie L. Young of Monticello; children, Gary Martin of Jackson, Terri Clark (David) of Stockbridge, Robin Martin of Social Circle, and Phyllis Pettway (Paul Jr.) of Newnan; grandchildren, Kelsey Lucas, Colt Lucas, Brady Stewart, Andrew Stewart, and Martin Pettway; great grandchild, Easton Lucas; brothers, Gerald and Randy Jackson of Ocala, FL.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, March 4, 2018 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 – 2:00 Pm at Eastlawn Memorial Park, 640 McGarity Road, McDonough, GA 30253.
