

Patsy Kuglar Cook Waguespack, age 85 passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2025. She was born on July 24, 1939, in Waco, Georgia to the late Duell and Alice Kuglar. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her first husband, Herman Cook; brother Guynn Kuglar; sister Evelyn Kuglar; sister In-law Sarah Kuglar; and brother in-laws Donald Ginn and Jim Waugh.
She is survived by her husband Freddie Waguespack; sister Sara Anne Waugh; step-son Kevin
(Julie) Cook; step-daughter Brenda (Wallace) Middleton; step-sons Daniel, David, and Damon Waguespack; five nieces, one nephew, seven grandchildren, and seventeen great grandchildren.
Patsy was a graduate of Carrollton High School before she went on to work at Southern Bell telephone and retired after 30 years. She stayed a lifetime member of the Bellsouth Pioneers. She was an avid gardener for many years and loved to work in the yard and mow grass. Weed eating was her passion. Patsy was also a faithful and longtime member of Timberridge Presbyterian Church. She was kind, caring, and loving. She was always helping others and you never had to ask her; she was the first to pitch in everytime. She was a generous giver to many veterans and cancer research organizations. She also donated to Boystown & Bonaventure Indian School.
A visitation for Patsy will be held Friday, January 17, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Haisten Funerals & Cremations, 1745 Zack Hinton Parkway, McDonough, GA 30253. A celebration of life will follow at 11:00 AM in the Haisten Chapel. The committal service will be immediately after services at Fairview Memorial Gardens, 376 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, GA 30281.
Donations are accepted in lieu of flowers to American Cancer Research or Disabled Veterans.
