Paul W. Wells age 88 of Hampton passed away July 1, 2014. He was a 20 year veteran of the US Army and was known to his friends as Bill or Sarge. Paul was a member of Open Bible Baptist Church in Hampton. He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Lois Wells. He is survived by his daughter, Jan Brown of Griffin; sons and daughters in law, Alan and Sandy Wells of Hampton, Clifford and Trudie Wells of Griffin, Willie and Loretta Wells of Fayetteville and Josh and Ashley Wells of Snellville; 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; brothers, Ronald Wells and Tommy Wells, both of Ohio. A funeral service will be held Saturday, July 5, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Open Bible Baptist Church in Hampton. Interment will be in Sherwood Memorial Park with military honors.
