Pedro Juan Gutierrez Sr. was born 10/20/28 to Manuel Gutierrez and Rufina Colon. He was the youngest of nine children. He was raised in Guaraguao Ponce Puerto Rico. He joined the US Army at a young age and proudly served for 20 years, serving two tours in Vietnam. He was awarded a purple heart and bronze star for his service. He met his life partner Ursinia Torres Acevedo and married in 1954. He fathered six children and was a proud father, grandfather, great grandfather, and great great grandfather. He was loved by all who met him. He was an extraordinary provider to his family and his wife. His legacy and memory will live on for generations to come. He was a great example of humanity.
