Mr. Phillip M. Owens, age 81, of McDonough, GA passed away January 7, 2016. Mr. Owens was born in Augusta, GA the son of the late Joseph H. Owens and Hattie Pearl Davis Owens; he was also preceded in death by brothers, Bill and Heyward Owens. He was a member of Fellowship Primitive Baptist Church and he served his country in the USAF. Phillip enjoyed spending time with family and friends, collecting cars, and was an avid reader. Survivors are his sons, Phillip Mark Owens of Duluth and David and Lisa Owens of Boynton Beach, FL; granddaughter, Haley Owens of Boynton Beach, FL. A memorial service for Phillip will be held on Sunday, January 10, 2016 – 5:30 PM at Fellowship Primitive Baptist Church, 520 Plantation Road, McDonough, GA 30252.
