Mrs. Priscilla Vaughan Warren, age 92, of Locust Grove, GA passed away October 1, 2015. Mrs. Warren was born in Winchester, TN the daughter of the late Lillian Stewart Vaughan and Charlie Luther Vaughan. She was the oldest of twelve children and nine of her siblings preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Leonard Francis Warren in 1970. Mrs. Warren and her husband owned and operated their own optometry office where she was the optometric assistant. She was a member of First Baptist Church of McDonough, she volunteered with the Snellville Hospital and Red Cross, and during WWII she worked in Chicago making engines for the B29 and was a buyer for Spiegel. Mrs. Warren enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Survivors are her children, Cheryl Wilson (Tim) of Locust Grove, Carla Turner of Covington, Chuck Warren (Cindy) of Blue Ridge, and Craig Warren (Dominique) of Dawsonville; grandchildren, Travis Turner, Jesse Warren and Matthew Wilson; sisters, Roberta Ferguson of Aiken, SC, Judy Couch of Mauldin, SC and Linda Thomas of Aiken, SC; many nieces and nephews. Funeral service for Mrs. Warren will be on Saturday, October 3, 2015 – 2:00 PM in the chapel of Haisten funeral Home with Rev. Sherri Studdard officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service and a private graveside will be at Berea Cemetery in Hampton.
