Ramiro was born on July 5, 1962, in Twin Falls, Idaho. in route to hospital. He spent much of his childhood in San Antonio, Texas, where he attended and graduated from Edgewood High School. It was also there that he met the love of his life, Sharon Escobedo. The two later moved to Georgia, where they built a life, family, and many cherished memories together.
Ramiro was a hardworking and dedicated man who spent more than 40 years as a self-employed framer, eventually owning his own successful business, Precision Framing. His dedication to his work was only one part of the legacy he leaves behind.
Affectionately known as “Rambo,” Ramiro will be remembered for his love, kindness, humor, strength, generosity, and unforgettable smile. Above all, he was a family man. He loved deeply, gave generously, and touched the lives of countless people throughout his lifetime.
Ramiro was preceded in death by his parents, Ascencion and Antonia Escobedo; his mother-in-law, Yolanda Balderas; his niece, Roxanne Escobedo; and his brother, Jose Escobedo.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sharon Escobedo; his children, Krystal Balderas, Ramiro Escobedo Jr.(Vanessa), and Jesse Escobedo (Taylor); and his beloved grandchildren, Chamarya LaChey Balderas Jones (“Traylan”), Tatiana DaChey Balderas, Dariel Nicole Balderas, Isabella Adonna Escobedo, Dylan Ramiro Balderas, Jakobey Demario Rosser and last but not least, Victor Christian Garcia.
Ramiro is also survived by his brothers and sisters, Carlos Escobedo (“Jackie”) and Joe Escobedo (“Cindy”); Irma Gaitan (“David”), Delia Rodriguez (“Ricky”), and Marta Garcia (“Haron”), along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, extended family members, and dear friends who became family.
A visitation will be held on Friday September 4, 2026, from 2:00–7:00 p.m. at Haisten Funeral Home in McDonough, Georgia.
His homegoing service will take place on Saturday September 5, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with interment to follow at Berea Cemetery, 47 McDonough Street, Hampton, Georgia.
