Randall "Randy" Wallace Gilmer

Alabama on November 13, 1952. He attended Bass High School, in Fulton County. Randy was a devoted and loving husband, father, and grandfather. No matter the circumstance, he made sure that his family and loved ones came first. During his lifetime, he worked as a Deputy at Henry County Sheriff’s Department, as well as a volunteer fireman, for the Henry County Fire Department. He also owned and operated several different businesses. In 2010, he retired as the Director of Franchise and Real Estate, from Huddle House Inc. He was a man of many trades. In 1980, he became a Master Mason with the Masonic Lodge #37 located in McDonough Ga. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf, the beach, and flying. He was also a

member of Community Bible Church, in Stockbridge, Ga. Randy was very proud of his southern

heritage and culture. Preceded in death by his parents Robert Wesley Gilmer and Marian Richie Horne.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Elizabeth Gilmer ( Williams); children, Michael Wallace Gilmer (Angel GIlmer) and William Wallace Gilmer (Kristine Gilmer); grandchildren, Austan, Hailey, Rett, and Dylan Gilmer; brothers, Rickey Gilmer and Dennis Gilmer; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Due to his extensive history of support; we ask, in lieu of flowers to please make a contribution to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in memory of Randy. Services will be private.
