Richard Gerald Eubanks

Mr. Richard Gerald Eubanks, age 80, of McDonough, GA passed away January 11, 2017. Mr. Eubanks was born in Atlanta, GA and worked most of his working career as a manager for Coastal States Insurance Company. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, summer vacations with his family, hunting, and Harrah’s Casino in Cherokee. He was known for his caring ways, sense of humor, and being a loving provider for his family. He was a member of Eagles Landing First Baptist Church.

Mr. Eubanks was preceded in death by his father, Richard Price Eubanks; children, Ricky Eubanks and Sheila Dukes. Survivors are his loving wife of 52 years, Regina Eubanks of McDonough; daughter, Helen Freeman (Jimmy) of McDonough; sons, Russell and Jeff Eubanks; grandchildren, Mac and Dustin Dukes, Tyler Stevens, Clay and Austin Henderson, Brittany Nicole Eubanks, Meagan and Nathan Woody, Brian and Andy Eubanks, and Adam, Nicholas and Matthew Eubanks; several great grandchildren; mother, Beverly Christy of Roswell; sister, Sharlene Hamby (Charles) of Sandy Springs.

A Memorial Service for Mr. Eubanks will be on Sunday, January 15, 2017 beginning at 2:30 PM in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Tim Dowdy officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service from 1:30 to 2:30 PM.
