Ricky Eugene Cox, age 66, of Stone Mountain, Georgia passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2022. He was born in Griffin, GA on April 9, 1956 to John and Wilma Cox. Ricky is survived by his partner, Steve McMurtry his mother, Wilma Jane Gattis, his brother’s, Randy Cox (wife Elaine) Rodney Cox (wife Debbie) and Joel Cox (wife Risa) his daughters, Amethyst Dunn and Nicole Felix (husband Mike) his step dad Jerry Gattis and his Sister Debbie Smith have already passed away. He has four grandsons, two granddaughters and two great grandsons. Ricky loved playing the piano, listening to gospel music and running his Hosta nursery with Steve. He loved big front porches with hot coffee or a cold drink that had non-stop conversations or simply enjoy God's creations while reading his Bible. He could make anybody laugh or comfort them with just a touch and a smile. Ricky was kind to everyone and his laugh was contagious. He loves God whole heartedly as much as he loves his family.
