He was a member of Pleasant Grove Church. He had a great love for Jesus, helping others and cutting grass. He worked at Snapper in McDonough, GA for many years and was called Speedy.
Survivors include his wife of over 47 years Ann Austin, children Meagan Murphy, and James (Lisa) Austin; grandkids Savannah (Robert) Murphy, Andy Austin, Ethan Baxter, Tyler Hood, and Reece (Jacey) Hood; great-granddaughter Yahraah Hood; and brother Jerry (Coleen) Austin.
A memorial service for Bob Austin will be held at 3:30pm on March 2, 2025 at Pleasant Grove Church Jackson, GA.
