Chris was a small part of my teenage life. He was always fun to be around and we played a lot. I have a lot of memories with him living with us. He will find Greg in heaven.

My heart is broken over the loss of Chris.  I am so thankful for the opportunity to get to know him over the past few years.  He was such a sweet, loving, fun man.  I know when he arrived at the pearly gates that there was a heavenly chorus of "YEEEEPP!"  Trust in the will of God and keep Chris close in your hearts until the day you will be together again.

Oh uncle Chris, you were one of my father figures from almost day one. I remember lots of childhood memories since I was a little girl. You always lit up a room and was always so positive. You have always been funny and a good time. My children loved you. My sweet momma always liked and loved you. This is a huge loss to everyone in your path. I’m just not ready for another funeral. But just know we pray you are with all of our family that has gone before us, until we meet again, we pray for everyone’s heart and soul that you touched.

There are no words that I can say to relieve your pain that you are going through.  I do remember all the fun times we had together!! To many to tell. Chris,  I’m so thankful that I was able to have many years to work with you at Laurel Park, from doing my carpets to coming on board at the property. I could never call you Chris, even though you told me to. You were Mr. Barnes. I always loved to see your name on my schedule. You and Renee always brightened my day and made me feel like I was doing a great job. Always appreciative of my help even if it wasn't much help. You two will always be an example of true love.
