Robert Bevolyn Platte

Mr. Robert Bevolyn Platte, age 59, of Jackson, GA passed away September 25, 2018. Robert was born in Brunswick, GA and received his bachelor’s degree from Georgia Southern University. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, watching his son and grandson play ball, and being a Braves Fan. He was a member of Community Bible Church. He was preceded in death by his mother, Myrtice Strickland Platte; father, Robert Dunwoody Platte; father-in-law, David L. Smith and brother-in-law, Jeffery D. Smith.

Survivors are his wife of 20 plus years, Christy Platte of Jackson; children, Amanda Platt (Chris), and Aaron Platte of Jackson; grandchildren, Noah, Jase and Jaxon Platt of Jackson; sister, Cheryl Graham (Howard) of Winder; nephew, Matthew Barnett (Sarah) of Snellville; great nephew, Jesse Barnett; nieces, Marissa and Madelyn Smith; mother-in-law, Linda Smith and several other loving family and friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Monday, October 1, 2018 at 7:00 PM at Community Bible Church with Paula Brannon officiating.
