Robert Greg Stephens

Mr. Robert Greg Stephens, age 41 of Locust Grove, Georgia passed away July 13, 2014. Greg was born in Atlanta, Georgia to Douglas Stephens, Jr. and the late Brenda Faye Lively Stephens. He operated Down 2 Earth Plumbing and Septic and was a member of the Jonesboro Church of God of Prophecy. He enjoyed golfing and riding his motorcycle. Survivors include his wife, Donna Stephens; son, Austin Stephens of Flowery Branch; step children, Alex Smelcer of Locust Grove, Joshua and Crystal McGuire of Jonesboro; grandson, Brennen McGuire; father, Douglas Stephens, Jr. of Locust Grove; grandfather, Bill Trotter of Stockbridge; siblings, Angie and Robert Smith of Cartersville, Tonia and Chris Hasty of Cartersville, Phyllis and David Smith of Columbia, SC, Douglas and Rhonda Stephens III of Wade, NC, Keith and Alana Sheppard of Wade, NC; nieces and nephews, Katie Loyd, Autumn Smith, Dylan Barton, Jessica Barton, Kayla Barton, Brittany Hasty, Douglas Stephens IV, DeLance Stephens, Darren Stephens, Brigette Stephens, Kevin Sheppard, Kristen Sheppard, Ben Smith, Ashley Smith; great nieces, Madison Pepper and Ryland Gunn; beloved aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, July 17, 2014 at 6:30 pm from the Chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. Rev. Gary Lewis and Rev. Phillip Ramsey will officiate.
