Roger Lee Patterson

Mr. Roger Lee Patterson, age 64 of Locust Grove, Georgia passed away January 14, 2018. He was born in Kingsport, TN to the late Robert Lee and Edna Lee Crawford Patterson. He was preceded in death by a sister, Joan Fulkerson. Roger was a Avionics Technician at Rockwell Collins for 42 years. He attended Sharon Baptist Church and enjoyed hunting, gardening, and coaching softball. Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Lynn Patterson; daughters, Shavon (Rusty) McKenney of McDonough, GA, Leia Patterson of McDonough, GA, Amy (Michael) Phillips of Gadsden, AL and Melissa (Ferrell) Davis of Sharpsburg, GA; grandchildren, Layla McKenney, Levi McKenney, Kaylee Phillips, Brandon Phillips, Ashlyn Phillips, Savannah (Matthew) Coggins and Megan Davis; great grandchildren, Jace and Laylen Coggins; sister, Pat (Keith) Dawson of Kingsport, TN; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 18, 2018 – 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. Friends may visit the family Wednesday from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the funeral home. A graveside and interment will follow at East Lawn Memorial Gardens in Kingsport, TN Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 2:00 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Haisten Funeral Home of McDonough, GA, www.haistenfunerals.com.

So sorry to hear of Rogers passing . I haven't seen him in a few years. He would always come to the Crawford reunion and I always looked forward to seeing him, he was so funny and such a sweet person. Pat taught me my brother in school. I used to take my mother Mary Crawford Light to visit Robert and Edna , they were so sweet. All of the family are in my Prayers.
