Ronald Ray Mumy

Mr. Ronald Ray Mumy, age 78 of McDonough, Georgia passed away February 21, 2018. He was born in Hoytville, Ohio to the late Ray Ernest and Arnetta Louise Spence Mumy. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Richard Ernest Mumy and Mary Louise Farquharson. Ron faithfully served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era from 1958-1964. He retired after 32 years with the Libby Owens Ford Glass Company and was a member of the Stockbridge First United Methodist Church. He enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, cutting his grass and was an avid bowler in his younger days. Survivors include his loving wife of nearly 57 years, Mary Lou Mumy of McDonough, GA; daughter, Cindy (Bob) Simcox of Maumee, OH and Greg Mumy of Villa Rica, GA; grandchildren, Eric Simcox and Dominick Mumy; sister in law, Anna Mumy of Worthington, OH. Memorial services will be held Saturday, February 24, 2018 – 3:00 PM at the Stockbridge First United Methodist Church, 4863 N. Henry Blvd., Stockbridge, GA 30281. Rev. Andy Postell will officiate.
