Roy Miller

Mr. Roy Arthur Miller age 81 of Blairsville formerly of Mount Bethel Rd. McDonough, GA. passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Sunday September 3, 2023 at Stonehenge Assisted Living following an extended illness. Mr. Miller was born on January 30, 1942 in Covington, KY., the son of the late Arthur Morris Miller and the late Ruth Collins. Roy was a veteran of the US Army of the Vietnam War. Roy loved detailing cars and trucks and loved to ride motorcycles. He was most passionate about his grandchildren who he loved dearly. He was a loving and caring father, grandfather and great grandfather. Roy was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Corlis Atkins Miller in 2020. Roy was of the Christian faith.

Surviving Mr. Miller are one daughter and son in law, Tiffney and Charles Flowers of Blairsville, one son and daughter in law, Darren and Pam Miller of McDonough, GA, three grandchildren, Jordan and her husband Colton Harris, Jessica Flowers and Reese Flowers, one great grandchild, Ophelia Harris, many other relatives and friends also survive. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 16, 2023 in the Haisten Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers if you wish, the family requests that donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in Mr. Miller’s memory.
