Ruby W. Maloney

Mrs. Ruby Maloney, 79 of McDonough passed away June 25, 2019. She was born in Roanoke, Alabama to the late Allie Norred Weathers. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Bill Weathers. Ruby was a member of Salem Baptist Church and the Happy Hearts Sunday School class. Ruby enjoyed spending time with family and friends and especially her grandchildren. She loved to line dance, Alabama football, church activities, cross stitching and baking pecan pies. She volunteered with the church clothes closet and working the concession stand. She is survived by her husband of 19 years, Ed Maloney; children, Greg (Julie) Rowland of Monticello; Pam Spahos (Gary Hamilton) of Hoschton, Laron Maloney (Sunny) of Cedartown; Karla Smith (David) of Desoto, KS; Donovan Maloney (Alecia) of Cumming and 13 grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 30, 2019 at 4:00 PM at Salem Baptist Church with Rev. Rick Statham officiating. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service from 3:00 - 4:00 PM at the church.

Biography
