A most wonderful woman of God. She will be missed so much here on earth. We will see her again one day soon in Heaven. Can't wait to hug you again Mrs. Ruth and give you a kiss on the cheek as always. We will miss you at church, but you will be in our hearts forever. Love and Prayers for the whole family...you have been truly blessed.

Ruth was an inspiration with her love, testimony and devotion to Jesus and her friends. I had the pleasure of fixing Ruth's hair for 29 years. She brought joy and love with her every two weeks for her appointment. She will surly be missed, but we know that she is at home with Jesus.
Much Love to the family

I loved Miss Ruth so much! She always had a big smile of her face! When I would say hello and give her a hug she always kissed me on the cheek! She was such a sweet, precious lady and she will be sorely missed! She always told me how much Danny reminded her of her husband! My love and prayers go out to her family! Miss Ruth I know you are in heaven now but I'm sending you a big hug and kiss! We love you!

Our hearts were so sad when we found "Ms. Ruth"s" obituary We both commented that she will be sorely missed. We always felt blessed each time we dropped off or picked up our sewing. Today, I picked up my cell phone and Voice Mail immediately came up. There was a voice message saved from mid March when "Ms. Ruth " called to check on me after my Pace Maker surgery. Listening to her voice brought tears to my eyes, especially when she said "Love you, Sweetie." She was one of the most caring people we have ever known and we loved her. We extend our sincere sympathy to all her lovely family that she dearly loved. Bobby and Remah Evans

We were honored to know Sis Ruth or should actually say Grandma cause that’s what we called her. We are so sad to know that when we visit GA again she won’t be there but we are so thankful that we will see her again “When We All Get To Heaven” Our deepest sympathies, overwhelming love and continued prayers to all the family.

Miss Ruth was a joy to be around . I believed she loved everyone. She was always kind to me. She will always have a special place in my heart. She had the most beautiful eyes. I was thinking of her just last night not knowing she had gone to be with the Lord . Love and prayers to the family. PhyllisLeavell

Mama Ruth, you became my mother-in-law nearly 34 years ago, with a promise not to butt in but give advice if I asked. You and I never had a cross word. When my mom died, you said that you knew you couldn't replace her and wouldn't try, but you would always be there if I needed you. I never regretted a single day marrying your son and becoming a part of this family. Tell him hello for me.

Ms. Ruth Carter was the epitome of a true Southern and Godly woman. She was known and loved by many in the McDonough community. I will miss seeing her making her way into Gritz for lunch. We were both regulars there. To Barry, Randall, Deb and the rest of the Carter family, my prayers and well wishes. She will be sorely missed as all Mamas are.
