Mrs. Ruth M. Hargraves, age 76, of Hampton, GA passed away October 25, 2015. Mrs. Hargraves was born in Wilkes-Barre, PA the daughter of the late Helen Buksar Matelski and Joseph Matelski. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Jane Lewis. Mrs. Hargraves enjoyed spending time with family and friends, cooking, gardening and making flower arrangements. Survivors are her loving husband of 58 years, Dr. Fred L. Hargraves of Hampton; daughter, Dr. Denise H. Hargraves of Griffin; son, Tommy Hargraves of Hampton; grandson, Rich Lamar Newman of Hampton; brother, Thomas Joseph Matelski of High Falls. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday night from 6 – 8:00 PM. Funeral Service will be on Thursday, October 29, 2015 – 11:00 AM in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home with committal following at Sherwood Memorial Park.
