Shirley Rivenbark Bobo, age 83, of Jackson, Georgia passed away on Saturday, November 27, 2021. Shirley was born September 22, 1938 in Vero Beach, Florida to the late Sanford Ford and Elsie Louise Hall Rivenbark. Shirley had a great work ethic, evident in her many career choices over the years. She was in sales and real estate in her early years and then went on to interior decorating, bank loans and cd's and the last fifteen years was devoted as a caregiver. She was a member of Fellowship Primitive Baptist Church and she loved the beach and ocean and going shelling. She was preceded in death by her brother, Kent Rivenbark. Survivors include her children, Rick (Karen) Bobo, Greg (Kathy) Bobo and Cindy Hunt; grandchildren, Carrie Bobo, Lindsay Williams, Christie Hodge, Shelly Moore, Heather Hunt, Aimee (Matt) Tangle, Joey Schasane, Charlotte (Steve) Lamb, Joshua (Tara Clark) Allen, William Allen, Benjamin Allen, Aaron (Becca) Hunt, Jeremy (Lesli) Hunt and Christy (Bryan) Taylor; 28 great grandchildren, 9 great-great grandchildren and two great-great-great grandchildren; sister, Sandra Melson; niece, Belinda (Wayne) Starling; nephew, Dustin (Ling) Rivenbark. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, December 1, 2021 - 11:00 AM at Fellowship Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Pastor Brady Thompson and Pastor Marvin Pitney will officiate. Contributions may be made to the Fellowship Primitive Baptist Church, 520 Plantation Rd., McDonough, GA 30252 in memory of Ms. Bobo.
