She was a cherished wife, devoted mother, beloved Nana, Great Nana, sister, aunt, and Best Friend!
Dianne was fun-loving, sociable butterfly who enjoyed spending her time with family and friends. She loved to travel and be on the beach. She had an artistic heart and could walk into any room and turn it into something amazing, as long as money wasn't an issue, lol. Everything she put her hands on turned out beautiful. From catering and wedding cakes to interior decorating. She just had that touch, and everyone loved that about her. She always made sure no one went hungry, and everyone had fun when we were together. With her strong, confident personality she could be a handful at times, but Tommy loved her unconditionally and always took care of her. They really are a love story for the ages.
With her outgoing, friendly nature her extended family stretches coast to coast, because genetics isn't the only factor. She loved deeply and had a tendency to collect family members and friends everywhere she went.
To most, Dianne was a dear friend, a trusted confidante, and a woman of many talents including travel agent, professional and personal shopper, beach bum, a true "Jill of all trades." As her husband Tommy always says, "There's nothing out there she couldn't do", nothing held her back.
Above all, Dianne was a faithful child of God, whose love and positive spirit touched everyone she met. She shared 60 beautiful years of marriage with her loving husband, Tommy, building a life filled with faith, laughter, and devotion.
Dianne's heart embraced family and she leaves behind a legacy enriched by loved ones. She is survived by her husband, Tommy Wilson Sr.; her sons Bo "Tombo" Wilson (with Nichole Jensen), John Jeffery "Duffy McGhee" Wilson, and Cory Wilson (with his wife Windy Fowler Wilson); as well as her many grandchildren: Cherish (husband Donny) Stevens, Lacey (husband Josh) Butler, Taylor Wilson, Jeffery Dakota Wilson, Brittany Wilson, Shelby Montana (with Albeyon Fields) Wilson, and Riley Wilson. Her extended family includes great-grandkids Mason, Carson, and Emerson Stevens; Jeslyn Butler; Kenly Fields; Jett and Kade Wilson, and her youngest to be great grandchild expected in Nov 2025.
She also leaves behind her sisters, Arlene (husband David) Smith and Becky (husband Cruz) Virgil, along with many nieces and nephews.
Dianne is reunited with her beloved parents, George Lester and Odell Mavis Martin McGhee; her brothers, Martin McGhee and Ralph McGhee; and her grandson, Daniel Thomas Fowler.
