Mr. Spencer Gregory Reid, age 71 of Hampton, Georgia passed away August 16, 2015. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Homer Frederick and Martha Helen Phillips Reid. He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Beverly Diane Taylor Reid and a brother, Michael Frederick Reid. Spencer was retired after 45 years with Williams Printing Company and enjoyed deer hunting and fishing. Survivors include his children, Greg Reid of Pell City, AL, Tony (Donna) Reid of Hampton, Tracy Jones of Dunwoody; grandchildren, Kyle, Kevin, Taylor, Brandi, Katie, Ciara, Kase and Hunter; great grandchildren, Jaydyn and Bristol; brothers, Jerald Reid of Fayetteville, Vick (Shelley) Reid of Tyrone; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at 2:00 pm from the Chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. Rev. Jerald Reid will officiate. Interment will follow at Camp Memorial Park in Fayetteville. Friends may visit the family Tuesday from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
