Thelma June Sizemore Fouche

Mrs. Thelma June Sizemore Fouche, age 87 of McDonough, Georgia passed away February 12, 2021. She was born in Augusta, Georgia to the late Clarence Edward and Thelma Blackstone Sizemore. She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Allen Fouche, Jr. and by her brothers, Preston, Mutt and Pat Sizemore. She was a graduate of the Richmond Academy and was an accountant and part owner of Sizemore Security, a company that her mother founded and where she worked all of her life. June was a member of Salem Baptist Church, where she was the Outreach Coordinator for her Sunday school class. She loved her family and her dog (Rascal). She enjoyed fellowship with her friends, giving gifts, sending cards, flower arranging and crafts. Survivors include her daughter, Lee (Dan) Kirk of McDonough; son, Sam (Beth) Fouche of Evans; grandchildren, Roby (Jackie) Kirk of Delaware, Chris Kirk of Niceville, FL, Steven Kirk of Central, SC, Leanne Kirk of McDonough, Michael Kirk of McDonough, Samantha (Patrick) Rodgers of Atlanta and Noah (Chloe') Fouche of Lincolnton; niece, Kathy (John) Anderson of Augusta; nephew, Preston Edward (Libby) Sizemore of Augusta; great niece, Mimmi Sizemore of Augusta, and many other nieces and nephews. Graveside funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 17, 2021 - 11:00 AM at Westover Memorial Park in Augusta. Rev. Rick Statham will officiate. In lieu of flowers, contributions are asked to be made to the Salem Baptist Church Building Fund or to Missionaries Tracey and John Batchler in care of Salem Baptist Church.
